The Events Resource Centre is a locally operated resource operated by Port Elgin Pumpkinfest and in Partnership With the Town of Saugeen Shores and the Southampton Marine Heritage group.

In 2022 the Events Resource Centre received additional grant funding from RT07 (Bruce, Grey, Simcoe) and Federal Development Southern Ontario to acquire some new equipment and also to build and maintain a website to assist in making the ordering and management process of resource centre items easier and more flexible for the end user and the support staff.

Our hope is that this site will increase the visibility and usability of the Resource Centre and add the ability to provide local Non-Profit and Charitable Organizations somewhere they can go for pertinent event related information (i.e. tips & tricks, funding/grant information, etc).

This site will provide an easy way to order equipment rentals, access information and reach out to Resource Centre staff with questions. Some additional benefits will include linkbacks to any member groups website/facebook/twitter/instagram account to help with their own visibility as well as in the near future a calendar of upcoming events in the area.

We are always looking to improve upon the services we offer for our members and this website is a great start to that improvement and will set us up for the future!
